Yellow Ribbon applications

The Office for Veteran and Military Personnel began accepting Yellow Ribbon applications on 1 July 2009 at 8:00am. Students may email the completed and signed agreement to gibenefi@iupui.edu, fax to 317-274-8920, or bring in the agreement to the Office of the Registrar, located at 420 University Boulevard. Awards are given on a first come first served basis and submission of the agreement does not ensure admittance into the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students must be in good academic standing with the University and be eligible for the 100% benefit of the Post 9/11 GI Bill. In-state undergraduate students are not eligible for the Yellow Ribbon Program.

The IU School of Law – Indianapolis and the IU School of Dentistry will process Yellow Ribbon Program applications directly through their VA Certifying Official. For questions, please contact the Office for Veteran and Military Personnel at 317-274-9163 or via email at gibenefi@iupui.edu.

July 2 - Dropped Courses require form with academic advisor signature submitted in person at the Office of the Registrar, Campus Center, Suite 250 or via the Late drop/add classes link on the self service page. Continues through July 6 (Dropped courses will not appear on the official transcript.)
July 2 - Added Courses require form with the instructor and academic advisor signatures. Submitted in person at the Office of the Registrar, Campus Center 250 or via the Late drop/add classes link on the self service page. This requires prior verbal permission from the instructor before submitting the request. If submitting in person, pick up the form from your advisor or school. Continues through July 6
July 2 - eAdd begins and continues through July 18.
July 3 - Independence Day holiday observed (No Classes) - Classes that would normally meet on Friday, July 3 will make up the day on Monday, August 10
July 6 - 100% refund period ends
July 6 - Last day dropped courses will not appear on the official transcript
