Helpful Hints

• Transcripts with grades for a semester are available approximately four days following the last day of finals for the Fall or Spring semester or the last day of classes for a summer session. Grades for Law School courses are posted approximately three weeks following the end of final exams.
• Degrees are posted to the transcript within 30 days of your actual degree conferral date. This allows the school recorders time to review the records and confirm all requirements have been met.
• Students who ordinarily attend Purdue West Lafayette or another campus of Indiana University do not need to request official transcripts to have their work from IUPUI sent back to their home campuses. IU records are updated immediately. IUPUI will automatically send Purdue West Lafayette your grades several weeks after the end of the term. Your Purdue transcript should be updated by early October.
• Courses taken through the IU Independent Study program will appear on the transcript approximately three weeks after you final examination or lesson is received.
• If you are applying to an IU or IUPUI school or program which requires an official printed transcript, you should ask us to send an internal transcript directly to the school or program. There is no charge for this service.
